Think of me in the depths of your despair

Ransom notes keep falling out your mouth

Wearing me out. Hanging around. Getting me down. Looking for an easy way out.

iPhoneogenic’s Top 31 for December 2011!

iphoneogenic:

After being on hiatus for several months the iPhoneogenic collection of monthly images is back! This collection promises to awe and inspire those who appreciate what iPhone photographers/artists do! This December we saw well over 1,800 images added to our Flickr group pool! That being said, it was quite a daunting task to narrow it down to just 31 works of art! The selection varies in styles from landscapes, abstracts, self portraits, and many more.

Our lead image is such an appropriate segway into the new year. “Through the glass,” by Nicole Lock, is a toast to the year in mobile photography. What a great year 2011 has been, expect far greater in twenty twelve. Next, Aaron Davis captures an amazing macro shot of a dragonfly, the detail of “bug” is spectacular. Later, James Clarke’s abstract steers us directly into the “insertion point,” there is no way you can miss this one! Furthermore, MaryJane Sarvis leads us down the “river road” to a beautiful mountain range on the horizon. The simplicity of this image leaves me breathless. Finally as 2011 came to a close “the golden hue by the oak tree,” by Andy Royston, is just a reminder that we have a another year behind us and many more ahead.

Thanks to all who participated in adding to the iPhoneogenic Flickr Group and those who submitted their work to us. You have made this month’s selection process very tough. Continue to inspire us!

We hope you enjoy the collection!
